Zvonimir \u0160iki\u0107, \u010dlan<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>O projektu<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Projekt&nbsp;<em>Matemati\u010dko modeliranje u umjetnoj inteligenciji<\/em>&nbsp;u sredi\u0161te istra\u017eivanja stavlja razvoj teorijskog znanja i formalnih matemati\u010dkih alata za primjenu umjetne inteligencije (UI) u razli\u010ditim podru\u010djima, posebno u domeni digitalnih sustava, primjerice Interneta stvari (eng. Internet of Things, IoT). IoT je slo\u017eeni sustav koji omogu\u0107uje prikupljanje i razmjenu podataka me\u0111u fizi\u010dkim objektima, na primjer senzorima, vozilima, gra\u0111evinama, itd., i zahtijeva naprednu matemati\u010dku analizu, osobito matemati\u010dku logiku, teorijsko ra\u010dunarstvo te vjerojatnost i statistiku prilikom kreiranja formalnih ra\u010dunalnih modela kao temelja funkcioniranja slo\u017eenijih sustava.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cilj projekta je analizirati postoje\u0107e digitalne sustave te novim i\/ili pobolj\u0161anim matemati\u010dkim modelima pove\u0107ati kvalitetu dono\u0161enja odluka u uvjetima nesigurnosti te tako\u0111er inovativnim rje\u0161enjima do\u0107i do efikasnijeg predvi\u0111anja budu\u0107ih doga\u0111aja. Osobita pozornost \u0107e uklju\u010divati matemati\u010dko, odnosno vjerojatnosno modeliranje kvara sustava, detekciju anomalija, prepoznavanje napada te analizu neuobi\u010dajene potro\u0161nje energije, \u010dime se op\u0107enito doprinosi sigurnosti i optimizaciji digitalnih sustava te stvara i osna\u017euje povjerenje korisnika u moderne sustave UI. Teorijska analiza metoda umjetne inteligencije bit \u0107e klju\u010dni dio istra\u017eivanja, s naglaskom na razumijevanje njihovih temelja, principa rada i metodologija. Modeli razvijeni tijekom istra\u017eivanja mogu pomo\u0107i tvrtkama u optimizaciji procesa, analizi podataka i dono\u0161enju odluka temeljenih na egzaktnim matemati\u010dkim metodama.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tim znanstvenika se sastoji od eksperata iz podru\u010dja teorijskog ra\u010dunarstva, logike, vjerojatnosti i umjetne inteligencije, \u010dime je osiguran interdisciplinaran pristup koji \u0107e omogu\u0107iti dubinsku analizu i razvoj inovativnih rje\u0161enja za unaprje\u0111ivanje digitalnih sustava i njihovog u\u010dinka u realnim uvjetima i primjeni.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Abstract<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project Mathematical Modelling in Artificial Intelligence focuses on the development of theoretical knowledge and formal mathematical tools for the further development and application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in various areas, especially in the field of digital systems, for example Internet of Things (IoT) systems. The IoT is a complex system that enables the collection and exchange of data between physical objects such as sensors, vehicles, buildings, etc. It requires advanced mathematical analyses, especially in the areas of logic, theoretical computing, probability and statistics, to create formal computational models that serve as the basis for the functioning of more complex systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The aim of the project is to analyse existing digital systems and, through new or improved mathematical models, improve the quality of decision making under uncertain conditions and provide innovative solutions for more efficient prediction of future events. Particular attention is paid to mathematical or probabilistic modelling of system failures, anomaly detection, attack detection and analysis of abnormal energy consumption in order to contribute to the overall security and optimisation of digital systems while building and strengthen user confidence in modern AI systems. The theoretical analysis of artificial intelligence methods will be an important part of the research, with a focus on understanding its foundations, working principles and methodologies. The models developed as part of the research can help companies to optimise processes, analyse data and make decisions based on precise mathematical methods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The team of scientists consists of experts in theoretical computer science, logic, probability and artificial intelligence.
